Refuse, Resist, Drink! Vodka Vodka returns for its 3rd year as Detroit's premier Vodka-tasting party. The Russian cosmonaut-themed event will take place at the Royal Oak Farmer's Market on Friday, Jan. 27, 2012 from 8 p.m. to midnight. Open to adults 21 years old and older, guests will enjoy a vast assortment of vodkas and vodka-infused cuisine to sample, plus the musical stylings of local artist Michael Geiger. VODKA VODKA sold out last year, and is sure to be this winter's do-not-miss event again!
A portion of the event's proceeds will benefit Higher Ground, a local HIV/Aids Awareness Group. Founded in 2002, Higher Ground's mission is to empower people living with HIV/AIDS by providing holistic support that develops and maintains the body, mind, spirit and dignity of the whole person.
